The World Quilt Show in Manchester NH
Last Thursday I got to see half of the World Quilt Show, New England XI. I wished I had been able to see the whole thing but I was simply too tired to drive to Manchester for a second day. But alas - I'm happy I took in half of it in!

Wow! Is La Luz a pieced quilt? It is extraordinary. But all the quilts are awesome/great/fabulous. I really enjoyed looking through your gallery. Thanks so much!

ReplyDeletePam, after your question I realized that I wasn't sure so I asked Betty. Her reply is: "La Luz is constructed with turned edge appliqué.

Turned edge vs, raw edge fuse - a lot more work!
